Rex: Kyouryuu Monogatari

Chie is a fortunate young girl who deeply admires her remarkable parents. Her father, a dedicated archaeologist, lives with her in the northern Japanese region of Hokkaido, while her mother pursues a distinguished career as a scientist working abroad in America. Surrounded by their inspiring examples, Chie leads an ordinary life until a routine excavation at a nearby cave changes everything. During the dig, she and her father make an astonishing discovery: a clutch of Tyrannosaurus eggs that are on the verge of hatching. When the baby dinosaurs finally emerge from their shells, they immediately imprint on Chie, accepting the young girl as their mother. Thrust into this extraordinary role, she devotes herself to nurturing and caring for the fragile prehistoric hatchlings. However, their miraculous arrival soon attracts dangerous attention. Individuals with cold scientific ambitions seek to claim the infant rexes, intending to subject them to invasive experimentation. Determined to keep her adopted children safe, Chie must step up to protect them from those who view the baby dinosaurs as nothing more than test subjects. Balancing her youth with fierce maternal instinct, she fights to shield the little tyrannosaurs from exploitation, embarking on a heartfelt journey to ensure their survival against looming threats.
