Guin Saga

The ancient kingdom of Parro has fallen to the ruthless armies of Mongaul. In a devastating assault, both the king and queen are slain, leaving their realm in ruins. However, hope endures in the form of Rinda and Remus, the royal twins celebrated as the "twin pearls of Parro." Facing imminent capture, the young princess and prince manage to flee the crumbling capital by activating a mysterious device concealed deep within the palace walls. Their desperate escape deposits them far from safety, lost and vulnerable in the treacherous depths of the Forest of Rood. As soldiers from Mongaul close in to finish what their invasion started, the siblings face seemingly certain doom. Yet salvation arrives from an entirely unexpected source. A bizarre warrior bearing the head of a leopard intervenes, driving back their pursuers and shielding the royal heirs from harm. This enigmatic savior introduces himself only as Guin. Despite his formidable prowess, he is a man hollowed out by amnesia, possessing no recollection of his past or identity save for a single, haunting word echoing endlessly in his mind: Aurra.
