As Subaru and Sumire dig deeper into the origins of Faust, they discover that the sudden death was no random incident but rather a calculated component of a dark ritual designed to summon a demon into the mortal world. The boundary between criminal investigation and supernatural horror begins to blur, forcing the two partners to confront an evil that defies logic. Yet the most chilling revelation is still waiting in the shadows. In the midst of their desperate search for answers, Sumire uncovers a horrifying secret that strikes at the very heart of their partnership. The demonic threat they are hunting is not merely lurking somewhere in Tendoku—it is already hiding within Subaru himself.
