Beastification Syndrome is an incurable and unpreventable affliction that ravages both the body and mind, slowly transforming its victims into beasts. In a society gripped by the terror of this mysterious disease, those who contract it are swiftly isolated and quarantined by agents of the Ministry of Health. To become infected is to face the absolute end of one’s human existence, severing all ties to the life once known. Kazu’s world shatters when he discovers that his closest companion, Masa, has contracted the syndrome. Confronted with the devastating reality that his best friend is slipping away into something unrecognizable, Kazu is thrown into deep uncertainty. As fear and loyalty collide, he is forced to navigate his wavering emotions and ultimately make a defining choice about where he stands. The bond they share is pushed to its breaking point as the shadow of the illness looms over them. Kazu is left to wonder how much longer Masa will remain the person he has always known. Torn apart by a merciless and unknown disease, the two friends must face a future that threatens to destroy everything between them.
