Kore wa Wareware Fuufu no Koto de

Set against the turbulent backdrop of Japan’s Sengoku period, Tadaoki Nagaoka is a man driven by a singular, unwavering purpose: the survival and prosperity of his family. In an era defined by relentless warfare and shifting allegiances, he views this duty not as a burden, but as the natural order of life. Every decision he makes is calculated to protect his lineage, leaving no room for personal ambition or doubt in a world where a single misstep can mean ruin. As a devoted vassal, Tadaoki’s loyalty is absolute, yet it is tested in an unexpected manner when his lord issues a sudden decree commanding him to take a wife. Bound by honor and obligation, he cannot refuse the arrangement, even though marriage was never part of his carefully constructed plans. The political nature of the union demands his immediate compliance, thrusting him into unfamiliar territory far removed from the battlefield. The woman chosen to be his bride, however, defies all convention. Rather than a typical noblewoman suited for the times, his new partner is a girl possessing a strikingly unusual appearance that sets her apart from anyone he has ever encountered. This unforeseen development challenges Tadaoki’s rigid worldview, forcing him to navigate not only the perils of a war-torn nation but also the profound mysteries surrounding his enigmatic new wife.
