Yankee-chan wa Sunao ni Narenai

Yuusuke Hiyoshi is an ordinary high school boy who happens to be childhood friends with Meiko Yashiro, the most feared delinquent girl in their entire school. Despite her intimidating reputation among their peers, Yuusuke cannot help but notice a simple truth: his longtime friend is actually incredibly cute. However, Meiko's tough exterior and fearsome presence make it nearly impossible for her to connect with others, leaving her isolated from the rest of the student body. Determined to help her break out of her shell and finally make some female friends, Yuusuke decides to offer her a piece of practical advice. He suggests that she start by simply shortening her skirt, hoping this small change might alter how others perceive her and open the door to new friendships. What begins as a well-meaning attempt to improve her social life quickly spirals into something far more complicated. This one-shot follows the endearing dynamic between an innocent yet fierce delinquent girl and her earnest, honor-student childhood friend. As Yuusuke tries to guide Meiko toward a more normal high school experience, their relationship becomes entangled in awkward misunderstandings and unspoken feelings, resulting in a charming and delightfully complicated romantic comedy.
