The Fox’s Trap

Since she was ten years old, a high school student named Yan has been tormented by a recurring nightmare in which a fox viciously devours her heart. For years, this terrifying vision remained confined to her sleep, until a fateful school field trip blurs the line between her dreams and reality. Separated from her classmates and left entirely alone, Yan is suddenly approached by Ran, a breathtakingly beautiful demon fox whose presence threatens to make her darkest fears come true. However, the encounter takes an unexpected turn. Rather than attacking her, Ran reveals that he has come to repay a debt. He explains that Yan once helped him recover his lost tail, an act of kindness he refuses to leave unacknowledged. The feared creature who haunted her dreams now stands before her not as a predator, but as a benefactor bound by gratitude. In exchange for the return of his prized tail, the omnipotent demon fox offers Yan a single wish. What began as a lifetime of dread transforms into an extraordinary opportunity, leaving the young girl to navigate a sudden and mysterious bond with a powerful being who holds the ability to grant her deepest desire.
