Sixty thousand years ago, long before the dawn of recorded human history, Earth was home to a magnificent civilization of Giants. Possessing extraordinary intellectual capabilities and scientific knowledge far beyond modern comprehension, this ancient race shaped the world according to their will. However, their era of prosperity faced an existential threat when their scholars predicted the imminent arrival of a devastating new ice age. Determined to preserve their advanced society, the Giants devised an ambitious plan to artificially raise the planet's atmospheric temperature and stave off the encroaching cold. Their carefully calculated strategy unraveled due to forces beyond their control. A sudden and unforeseen decline in solar activity disrupted their warming efforts, rendering their technology ineffective against the shifting climate. With their original solution rendered useless and the survival of their entire species hanging in the balance, desperation drove the Giants toward an unprecedented course of action.
