Mako-san wa Shindemo Jiritsu Shinai

A year has passed since Rin relocated to Tokyo to begin his high school education. Seeking to ease the financial burden of living in the city, he eagerly accepted an unusual arrangement proposed by his apartment's landlord: in exchange for looking after the man's granddaughter, Rin would be entirely exempt from paying rent. It seemed like a perfect solution for a student navigating life on his own, and he agreed to the terms without hesitation. However, the reality of this agreement proved far different from what Rin had anticipated. The granddaughter he was tasked with supporting, Mako, turned out to be a twenty-year-old college student who is utterly incapable of managing her own daily life. Despite being older than him, she lacks even the most basic skills needed to care for herself, leaving Rin to handle everything she cannot. Yet, rather than feeling burdened by the unexpected responsibility, Rin found himself captivated the moment they met. Struck by love at first sight, he embraced his new role wholeheartedly. Now, balancing his studies with the constant demands of caring for his helpless older companion, Rin continues to look after Mako with unwavering dedication.
