Amane is an ordinary boy living a quiet life with his mother in a small, secluded village. Whenever he makes physical contact with another person or animal using his bare hands, he gains the unsettling ability to hear their innermost thoughts. This hidden gift becomes a curse when his friends uncover the truth. Rather than accepting him, they spread cruel rumors, branding him a monster and turning the entire community against him. To protect her son from the growing hostility, Amane’s mother is forced to flee with him into the depths of the surrounding forest, leaving their former life behind. Isolated in the wilderness, Amane clings to the fragile hope that his condition might one day be cured. However, as the years pass, his unusual power shows no sign of fading. With no remedy in sight and the harsh realities of their exile taking a heavy toll, his mother’s health begins to steadily decline, leaving Amane to face an increasingly desperate future.
