Seeking a quiet life away from the city, Ryuuichirou relocates to the countryside to begin his university studies. However, his peaceful new chapter is abruptly shattered when he is ambushed by his strikingly handsome landlord, Akon Tenkawa. Instead of a simple greeting, Akon reveals an astonishing truth: he has spent centuries searching for Ryuuichirou, claiming that the two were once deeply in love in a past life. Bewildered and entirely devoid of any memories from previous incarnations, Ryuuichirou naturally resists Akon’s sudden and intense romantic advances. Yet, despite his logical refusal, he finds his heart inexplicably stirred by the mysterious man's unwavering devotion. Caught between his modern reality and a forgotten history, Ryuuichirou struggles to navigate the overwhelming pull of a bond that transcends time. Beyond this central romance, the story also weaves in a passionate secondary tale of obsessive love. This narrative follows Eika, a fox who serves as Akon’s loyal attendant, and Mamoru, a powerful mountain god. Together, their intense relationship adds another layer of supernatural desire and devotion to a world where spirits and humans are bound by ancient affections.
