Every creation in this world carries an inherent purpose, yet for certain beings, that ultimate destiny can only be realized through death. Within this delicate balance of existence, the cherished possessions of humanity possess the extraordinary ability to awaken. When deeply valued by their owners, these treasured artifacts can cultivate a soul of their own, manifesting into physical human forms known as Object Spirits. Bound by devotion, they exist to serve and protect those who hold them dear, bridging the gap between the material and the spiritual. However, this profound connection is fragile. Should an owner discard or abandon their prized possession, the awakened spirit is left utterly adrift. Stripped of their master and severed from the bond that gave them meaning, a masterless Object Spirit faces a bleak and solitary fate. With no one to anchor them to the mortal realm, they are condemned to wander the earth aimlessly, lingering as forgotten echoes of a discarded past. Over time, without purpose or belonging, even these once-vibrant souls will inevitably fade, scattering into dust upon the wind like all forgotten things.
