Yuri Anthology Dolce

"Yuri Anthology Dolce" is a two-volume manga anthology that compiles a diverse collection of short stories centered on romance and emotional bonds between women. Featuring contributions from numerous acclaimed artists, the series explores themes ranging from lighthearted misunderstandings to deeply personal struggles. Among its many narratives, readers follow Sae, who accidentally blurts out an absurd lie about being an alien instead of confessing her feelings to her senpai, Hitomi, leaving her to figure out how to mend the situation. Another story follows Naho as she struggles to contain her romantic feelings while nursing her sick friend Mana back to health. The anthology also delves into complex dynamics of dependency and hidden emotions. Chino has always looked after Moka since childhood, firmly believing her friend would be lost without her, until a chance encounter with one of Moka's seniors reveals that Moka has been making major life decisions independently, forcing Chino to question who truly relies on whom. In a more dramatic tale, Shiori, burdened by an abusive mother, finds solace only in her desire to remain with her best friend Yukiko—until she witnesses Yukiko doing something highly unusual late one night. Meanwhile, Tomo turns down a confession claiming she already likes someone else, a revelation that shocks her best friend Chiharu and raises questions about whether it was merely an excuse or a genuine secret.
