Since ancient times, gods have walked the earth, and their presence endures in the modern world. Occasionally, a mortal will slay one of these divine beings—whether by design or sheer accident—and inherit the title of Campione, or God Slayer. This curse grants the killer the slain deity’s power while burdening them with a sacred duty: to eradicate any false god attempting to seize control of mortal territory. Godou Kusanagi never sought such a destiny, yet he inadvertently struck down Verethragna, the Persian god of victory. As a result, Godou inherited the deity’s ten distinct forms: Bull, Ram, Camel, White Stallion, Goat, Boar, Raptor, The Wind, The Youth, and The Warrior. Wielding divine authority as a human inevitably invites overwhelming danger, and his newfound status quickly draws relentless complications into his life. Among these troubles are three young women from formidable magical and religious lineages who have attached themselves to him, claiming they wish to support him in battle. However, their true intentions remain unclear—are they genuinely offering combat assistance, or do they seek his affection? Complicating matters further is Erica Brandelli, a skilled magic sword-mistress who leads the trio. Her involvement in these highly unorthodox events suggests a deeper agenda that Godou must unravel before his divine responsibilities consume him entirely.
