Aengmusaeui Adagio

Franny has always possessed a deep and genuine passion for singing. Her voice is her greatest gift, a source of personal pride and boundless joy. However, when an unexpected opportunity arises to join a wildly popular idol group, the reality of the entertainment industry proves far more restrictive than she ever imagined. Rather than being celebrated for her vocal talent, she is brought in specifically as a stand-in, forced into a role that demands absolute silence regarding her true abilities. Bound by the strict requirements of her position, Franny must conceal her authentic voice entirely. Instead of performing with the sincerity she has always cherished, she is reduced to merely lip-syncing during live performances, mimicking the words without ever letting her real sound reach the audience. Like a parrot trained only to repeat without understanding, she moves through the glamorous yet suffocating world of idol stardom while hiding the very thing that defines her. This painful compromise places Franny at the center of a deeply personal conflict. Surrounded by adoring fans and the dazzling spotlight of fame, she struggles with the weight of her deception. As she navigates the pressures of maintaining her facade within the group, she must confront the agonizing question of how long she can suppress her true voice before the silence becomes unbearable.
