Matsumoto Mizuka appears to be an entirely unremarkable high school student. As a registered member of his school’s track and field team, he attempts to navigate the ordinary routines of adolescence, spending his days participating in athletic activities just like any other teenager. On the surface, there is nothing about him that suggests a life intertwined with the supernatural, and he himself remains completely oblivious to the spiritual realm. He possesses no ability to see ghosts or interact with them directly, living under the assumption that his daily existence is perfectly mundane. However, beneath this facade of normalcy lies a peculiar and burdensome reality. Mizuka was born with a rare, innate trait known as a collecting constitution—a mysterious spiritual magnetism that passively draws the deceased toward him. Although he cannot perceive them, spirits from all over are inexplicably compelled to gather in his immediate vicinity. This unintended attraction turns his everyday life into a silent convergence point for the restless dead. The sheer number of phantoms that cluster around him is countless, creating an invisible crowd that follows his every move. Trapped in a dilemma he cannot even witness, Mizuka must endure the overwhelming presence of an endless spectral audience while simply trying to survive his high school years.
