Kuramerukagari

Set in the thriving coal mining town of Hakoniwa, a young woman named Kagari operates a map shop alongside her childhood friend, Yuya. Their community is defined by a treacherous, maze-like terrain shaped by unexplained sinkholes that continually fracture the ground beneath them. Because navigating this unpredictable landscape is essential for daily survival, the local residents depend heavily on Kagari’s meticulously crafted maps to move safely through their ever-shifting home. However, the situation grows increasingly dire as the geological instability worsens and the sinkholes expand. With the town's layout changing at an alarming rate, the citizens find themselves relying on Kagari’s cartographic expertise more than ever before to avoid disaster. The escalating destruction forces her to confront a terrifying reality: if the source of the devastation remains unknown, everything they have built could be lost. Driven by necessity, Kagari must look beyond simply charting the damage and attempt to uncover the hidden cause behind the relentless collapse of Hakoniwa. She faces a race against time to unearth the truth before the town she loves crumbles entirely into the earth.
