YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master

In the realm of Yamauchi, a unique civilization thrives under the dominion of the Yatagarasu—a mystical race of three-legged ravens possessing the extraordinary ability to assume human form. This expansive territory is governed by four powerful noble houses, each presiding over one of the cardinal regions: North, South, East, and West. The delicate balance of power among these factions shapes every aspect of life in this intricately structured world. Yukiya, born into the ruling family of the Northern region as the son of its leader, finds his life abruptly altered when he receives an unexpected summons to serve the Imperial Prince. Far from a simple honor, this call to duty thrusts him into a treacherous political landscape where nothing is as it seems. As he navigates the complexities of the imperial court, he becomes entangled in a web of murder and unsettling mysteries that threaten to unravel the very foundations of Yamauchi's society. Compounding the danger within the palace walls, a sudden invasion by an unforeseen enemy looms on the horizon, forcing alliances to be tested and secrets to be exposed. Caught between internal conspiracies and external threats, Yukiya must confront forces far beyond his initial understanding in this sweeping epic fantasy.
