Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de Aru

In the year 298 of the Divine Era, humanity clings to survival in Shikoku, the last habitable region on Earth. This solitary sanctuary is shielded by Shinju-sama, a sacred divine tree that stands as the final barrier against total annihilation. However, this fragile peace is suddenly threatened by the emergence of the Vertex, an enigmatic and relentless enemy determined to destroy the god tree and extinguish the remnants of mankind. To counter this existential threat, three elementary school girls—Sumi Washio, Sonoko Nogi, and Gin Minowa—are chosen for a monumental responsibility. Tasked with becoming heroes, these young friends must stand together on the front lines to defend their world from the encroaching darkness. They willingly accept their duty, united by their bond and their desire to protect the only home they have ever known. Yet, beneath the noble surface of their mission lies a devastating truth. As the conflict intensifies, the true weight of their calling begins to reveal itself.
