Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF

Lawrence is a solitary traveling merchant who makes his living selling an assortment of goods from the back of his horse-drawn cart. His quiet, routine existence takes an extraordinary turn when he arrives at a rural village and encounters a striking young woman unlike anyone he has ever met. She possesses the distinct ears and tail of a wild animal, revealing herself to be Holo, a legendary Wisewolf revered by the locals for her power to bring bountiful harvests to their fields. Despite her divine reputation and the prosperity she grants the villagers, Holo harbors a deep personal longing to return to her distant homeland in the north. Recognizing her desire and seeing an opportunity for companionship on the road, Lawrence offers to escort her on the long journey back. With this agreement, two formerly lonely souls—the wandering merchant and the ancient Wisewolf—embark together on a shared expedition northward, forever changing the course of their travels.
