Lamkha, the son of the Lord of Sanwa, stumbles upon a young woman named Kanan collapsed along a roadside. Moved by compassion, he rescues her and brings her back to his family’s estate to recover. This act of kindness draws her into the heart of a remarkable land where the skies are dominated by majestic creatures known as the Messengers of Heaven—soaring beings often referred to as Flying Serpents. Sanwa is a domain steeped in ancient lore, shaped by a legend passed down through countless generations. According to local tradition, a fierce celestial battle once raged between a Holy Dragon and a fearsome Black Dragon. The conflict ended when the Holy Dragon plummeted from the heavens, its body ultimately laid to rest beneath the very soil of Sanwa. For the people of the region, this tale is more than mere folklore; it is a foundational piece of their history and identity. Yet as Kanan finds herself entangled in the affairs of Lamkha and his homeland, lingering questions arise about the origins of these sky-dwelling serpents and the sacred ground they protect. As the boundaries between myth and reality begin to blur, the hidden truth behind the fallen dragon's legend threatens to emerge, challenging everything the people of Sanwa have believed for centuries.
