The Fire Hunter Season 2

After narrowly surviving a violent ambush, Touko becomes separated from her companions amid the chaos of a city under siege by the Spiders, a faction wielding terrifying supernatural powers. She originally journeyed to this metropolis to return the belongings of Haijuu, a fire hunter who sacrificed his life to protect her. Accompanied by Kanata, Haijuu’s loyal dog, and Akira, the fire hunter who has guarded her throughout her travels, Touko finds herself suddenly alone when an urgent mission pulls Akira away. Swept into the escalating battle, she is forced to forge her own path through the destruction. Elsewhere in the besieged city, Koushi, Haijuu’s son, fights desperately to defend his home. Though he lacks physical strength, his brilliant ingenuity has led to the creation of devastating weaponry, including a formidable cannon capable of unleashing divine lightning against the invaders. Because such overwhelming destructive power is considered an affront to the heavens, the deity Hibari moves to stop him. As the machinations of both scheming gods and humans unravel around them, Touko and Koushi are drawn into a widening conflict where survival demands everything they have.
