Campfire Friends

Exhausted by the relentless grind of his daily office routine, Chae-Su finds his reality abruptly shattered when he awakens inside the very world of Campfire Friends, a beloved cartoon he watched as a child. What begins as an impossible escape from his draining adult life soon transforms into a nightly ritual. Each time he closes his eyes, he is transported back to this familiar animated landscape, where he spends his evenings in the company of a vibrant cast of woodland companions. Through these surreal encounters, Chae-Su slowly begins to reclaim the innocence and joy he lost long ago. The colorful creatures welcome him with open arms, offering a warmth and cheerfulness that stand in stark contrast to his bleak waking hours. For the first time in years, he feels a genuine sense of peace and nostalgia washing over him as he bonds with his animated friends around the campfire. However, this idyllic sanctuary is not as flawless as it appears. Beneath the bright smiles and unwavering kindness of the woodland characters lies something deeply unsettling. As Chae-Su grows more attached to this childhood haven, he remains entirely unaware that a chilling secret lurks just behind the cheerful facade, threatening to turn his comforting refuge into a nightmare.
