Creatures in the Mist

A dense, impenetrable fog has enveloped the world, transforming ordinary people into mindless, zombie-like creatures. With no understanding of what caused this catastrophic phenomenon or how to reverse it, humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction. The only remaining sanctuary is a heavily fortified capital city constructed exclusively for the elite and privileged. For those left outside its walls, survival means navigating a ruined landscape while desperately seeking a way to infiltrate this exclusive haven before the mist claims them as well. Amidst this harrowing struggle for survival, Hayeon, a gifted biologist, fights to stay alive in a world overrun by the infected. His scientific expertise offers a glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak reality, but his focus shifts dramatically when he uncovers a devastating truth. He discovers that Myung Woon, the person he harbors deep romantic feelings for, is somehow connected to the mysterious virus driving the outbreak. This revelation forces Hayeon into a painful dilemma, pitting his desperate need for answers against his heart, as he realizes the key to humanity's salvation may lie with the one person he never suspected.
