Flung into a New World? Time to Lift the 200-Year Curse!

Akira Tennou is a thoroughly ordinary thirty-five-year-old janitor with plenty of reasons to be frustrated. After being struck by a truck, he finds himself accidentally swept up in a hero-summoning ritual and deposited into the heart of a bleak, unfamiliar forest in a parallel world. Drawing on the fantasy manga his sister adores, he quickly suspects that this strange new realm might be plagued by a dark curse. The oppressive shadows lurking throughout the woods do little to ease his anxiety, especially when those same sinister tendrils are attached to a massive wolf that has silently crept up behind him. Yet this unfamiliar world offers more than just curses and danger—it also holds the incredible gift of magic. Akira discovers that he possesses a rare purification ability, and he resolves to use it to liberate the forest's afflicted creatures. Teaching himself how to wield magic without an instructor will be no simple task, but he refuses to let a menacing curse stand between him and protecting the adorable animals he has grown determined to save.
