Gingerly in Love

According to ancient legend, a ginseng root that survives for a thousand years gains extraordinary magical properties, ultimately earning the ability to reincarnate into human form. In Gingerly in Love, this myth becomes reality when a millennium-old ginseng plant is reborn as a young woman. However, transitioning from a tranquil botanical existence to the chaotic world of humanity proves far more difficult than she ever anticipated. As a girl born from the earth, she struggles to adapt to the unpredictable routines and complexities of everyday human life, constantly navigating a society whose customs remain entirely foreign to her. Just when she begins to believe she has finally carved out a place for herself among people, her fragile new life shatters. Instead of finding the peace she sought after a thousand years of patient growth, she is suddenly thrust into a harrowing nightmare when she is accused of murder. Now, this former plant must fight to clear her name and survive in a human world that is quick to condemn her. With her hard-won normalcy stripped away, she faces a desperate battle against a severe injustice, struggling to prove her innocence while grappling with the very real dangers of the mortal realm she once longed to join.
