Fushi no Kami: Rebuilding Civilization Starts With a Village

Ash is an eight-year-old boy living in a remote, desolate village, burdened with vivid memories of a past life. He recalls a time of abundance and comfort, making his current reality nearly unbearable. The world around him resembles the darkest eras of history—a primitive age where even the most fundamental inventions, such as the internal combustion engine, have yet to be conceived. Refusing to accept this bleak existence, Ash resolves to reclaim the prosperity he once knew. His plan hinges on uncovering ancient texts rumored to hold the advanced knowledge of a highly developed civilization lost to the distant past. By studying these forgotten records, he hopes to reintroduce lost technologies and elevate his impoverished surroundings. What begins as a simple search for old books quickly evolves into something far grander. This is the opening chapter of a young boy’s ambitious journey to revolutionize an entire world. Armed with the wisdom of ages and driven by the memory of a better life, Ash sets out to rebuild civilization from the ground up, starting with nothing more than a single, forgotten village.
