A millennium has passed since the ancestors of the so-called Chosen Ones vanquished the fearsome Dark Lord Gob-Khan, securing an enduring peace across the land. Yet for Alex, a vengeful elf who feels deeply betrayed by this very world, that hard-won tranquility is nothing more than a lie built on hypocrisy. Driven by an unrelenting vendetta against the descendants of those celebrated heroes, she resolves to tear down everything they have protected. To achieve her ultimate revenge, Alex undertakes a desperate and forbidden act: awakening the ancient Dark Lord from his thousand-year slumber to serve as the instrument of her wrath.
