In the peaceful Kingdom of Lapanesta, a young hero named Yulia Chardiet—affectionately known as Yusha—and her loyal companions achieve what many thought impossible: defeating the fearsome Demon Lord. However, their victory takes an unexpected turn when the sealing spell they cast goes terribly awry. Instead of permanently vanquishing their enemy, the magical mishap inadvertently hurls the Demon Lord back through time to an era before Yusha ever began her heroic journey. Stripped of her former power and reduced to the stature of a small child, the once-terrifying Demon Lord adopts a new identity, calling herself Mao. Determined to alter her grim fate, she devises a cunning plan to prevent history from repeating itself. Mao enrolls as a teacher at the very Adventure School where a young Yusha is currently studying, embedding herself directly into the aspiring hero's daily life. Her ultimate objective is deceptively simple yet crucial: find a way to expel Yusha from the academy before she can ever awaken to her destined role. By sabotaging the young girl's education and ensuring she never becomes a true hero, Mao hopes to rewrite the future entirely and secure her own survival in this unfamiliar timeline.
