Akumu no Elevator

Four strangers—three men and one woman—find themselves trapped together inside a stalled elevator. Each has arrived at the building for entirely different reasons, but with no way out and their cell phones completely useless, they decide to pass the time by playing a game of truth. The rules are simple: every person must confess their darkest, most terrible secret. As the confessions unfold, the protagonist makes a horrifying discovery. The three individuals sharing this confined space with him are not ordinary people; they are actual criminals harboring sinister pasts. Yet the protagonist is far from innocent himself. A married man with a pregnant wife at home, he came to the building specifically to continue a secret affair with a coworker. When it is his turn, he is forced to expose his own shameful betrayal, laying bare the infidelity he has worked so hard to hide. However, as the weight of these collective truths settles over them, a chilling realization begins to take hold. The protagonist understands that their gathering cannot possibly be a mere accident. With all communication cut off and four deeply flawed individuals locked away from the world, he recognizes that there is absolutely no logical reason for all of them to be in this elevator at the exact same time.
