Seventeen-year-old Konoe Subaru serves as the devoted butler to Suzutsuki Kanade, attending school alongside his mistress and their fellow classmate, Sakamoto Kinjirou. To the rest of the student body, Subaru appears to be a perfectly composed young man fulfilling his duties with quiet professionalism.
