Berserk of Gluttony

In a world where an individual's magical skill dictates their entire destiny, Fate Graphite was dealt a cruel hand. Born with an ability known as Gluttony, he suffers from a relentless, agonizing hunger that offers no apparent benefit. Because his power is widely perceived as nothing more than a useless curse, society has cast him aside, leaving him marginalized and despised by those who possess genuinely useful talents. Everything changes when Fate takes the life of a thief in self-defense. In the aftermath of the killing, the dormant nature of his affliction finally reveals its terrifying truth. His hunger is not a mere physical torment but a dark mechanism capable of consuming the very skills of those he slays. By feeding on the abilities of his victims, he can permanently absorb their powers to satisfy his insatiable appetite. Thrust into possession of this gruesome and overwhelming gift, Fate must now navigate the moral complexities of his newfound strength. As the temptation to consume others grows alongside his capabilities, he faces a harrowing dilemma. The central question becomes whether he can master this dangerous, predatory power for good, or if the endless hunger will ultimately consume him entirely.
