On the legendary island of Avalon, witches follow an ancient tradition: upon reaching their fourteenth birthday, they are officially recognized as adults and granted the privilege of marrying human men. For young Vivian, this milestone brings thrilling news when she is selected to wed Akari Ikkyu, a Japanese high school student. Overjoyed by the arrangement, Vivian eagerly embraces her new role, confident that she is the perfect match for her chosen husband and ready to begin her life beyond the mystical borders of her homeland. However, Vivian’s excitement quickly turns into a complicated dilemma when she discovers an unexpected rival in her own inner circle. Her dearest friend, Araune-chan, has also been married to Ikkyu. What should have been a straightforward transition into adulthood suddenly becomes a tangled romantic rivalry between two close companions. Now, Vivian must navigate the challenges of sharing a husband with her best friend, testing the bonds of their friendship while competing for the affection of the same human boy. This surprising twist sets the stage for a lighthearted yet emotionally charged story about love, loyalty, and the unpredictable nature of magical traditions colliding with the modern world.
