Following the death of her grandmother, Na Su-Hyeon leaves her settled city life to return to her rural hometown. Drawn by an inexplicable force, she ascends Obongsan—a mountain her grandmother strictly forbade her from climbing while alive. After becoming lost and ensnared in terrifying supernatural events, Su-Hyeon is rescued by a mysterious man named Seo Moon-Ju, who remains perfectly fine despite having been beheaded. He reveals that Su-Hyeon is the reincarnation of Kang Yu-Hwa, a revered shaman known as her divine mother, and explains that her ascent of Obongsan triggered the unfolding chaos. Moon-Ju suspects that the malevolent spirit responsible for Kang Yu-Hwa’s death long ago was awakened by Su-Hyeon’s spiritual energy, prompting it to desecrate the shaman's grave. When ghosts begin stealing the five sacred weapons buried there to amplify their power, Su-Hyeon feels compelled to take responsibility. She resolves to heed the voices of the spirits and joins forces with Moon-Ju to recover the stolen relics. Together, they must confront the ancient evil and attempt to finally break the curse of immortality that binds him.
