Kondo navigates her junior high school days with a single, quiet goal: to remain entirely unnoticed. She prefers the safety of the background, carefully avoiding any situation that might draw attention to herself or disrupt the peaceful anonymity she has cultivated among her classmates. However, maintaining this deliberate distance proves difficult because of the student seated directly in front of her. Takahashi arrives at school every morning looking half-asleep, seemingly indifferent to the world around him. Rather than conforming to the expectations of their peers, he moves through each day entirely on his own terms, unbothered by convention and completely absorbed in his unique rhythm. Through a series of small, unexpected interactions, the reserved Kondo gradually finds herself drawn into Takahashi’s unhurried orbit.
