The Girl Who Wants to Be a Hero and the Girl Who Ought to Be a Hero

In the aftermath of the Great Human-Demon War, humanity harnesses a powerful magical artifact known as the Gear to establish the Hero Institute, an academy dedicated to forging a new generation of champions. Drawn by the promise of glory, Ruchika—a wild and impulsive demon girl—journeys to the city with dreams of enrolling. Her reckless ambition collides with destiny when she crosses paths with Leonie, the disciplined and serious-minded daughter of the legendary Almighty Hero who once vanquished the Demon Lord. Captivated from their very first encounter, Ruchika wastes no time in making her feelings known, boldly proposing to Leonie right in the middle of their entrance examination. What follows is a turbulent blend of combat trials and unexpected romance, as the free-spirited demon and the dutiful human heir are thrust together under extraordinary circumstances. As they navigate the rigorous demands of the institute, both must confront the weight of their respective legacies and the prejudices of a world still scarred by war. Whether these two contrasting girls possess the strength to become true heroes remains to be seen, but an even greater question lingers: can genuine love take root between a human and a demon?
