A Taste of Happiness

There is a certain meal in every person’s life that lingers in the memory long after the final bite. A Taste of Happiness is a quiet, everyday anthology that explores these deeply personal culinary experiences, capturing life's most joyful moments through the simple act of eating. Rather than following a single overarching narrative, this collection presents a series of standalone stories where ordinary food becomes the centerpiece of profound human connection and lasting emotional resonance. Presented entirely as a silent manga, the work relies on expressive artwork rather than dialogue to convey its heartfelt themes. By stripping away spoken words, the story allows the essence of each dish and the emotions it evokes to speak directly to the reader. It is a gentle reminder that the truest feelings of comfort, nostalgia, and joy often transcend language, found instead in the universal experience of sharing a meaningful meal.
