I'm More Than My Face

For as long as he can remember, Hiroto has been defined entirely by his appearance. People have always gravitated toward him solely because of his striking face, leaving him with superficial connections rather than genuine relationships. The constant attention and overwhelming recognizability eventually became a heavy burden rather than a privilege. Now navigating his college years, Hiroto desperately seeks anonymity. He chooses to conceal his features behind masks, preferring to isolate himself from a world that has only ever valued him for his looks. Despite his deliberate efforts to shut everyone out, Hiroto finds himself quietly observing his classmate, Mabuchi. As the only person who consistently interacts with him, Mabuchi occupies the ambiguous space of a mere acquaintance.
