YOHANE THE PARHELION -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Numazu, a picturesque harbor town cradled by the sea and towering mountains, this series offers a striking reimagining of Yoshiko Tsushima. Once known as a school idol burdened by adolescent delusions of grandeur, she is now reborn as a magical girl navigating a reality far stranger than her childhood fantasies. Known to herself as Yohane, she has struggled with a profound sense of isolation since early childhood. Despite living in a close-knit community, she has never truly belonged, always feeling like an outsider looking in on the lives of those around her. Her deepest aspirations and true purpose seem to exist far beyond the familiar streets of her coastal home, driving a quiet but persistent longing for something greater. As a young woman who inherently defies convention and struggles to conform to the rules governing ordinary life, Yohane ultimately embarks on an extraordinary journey into a mysterious, uncharted world. This adventure promises to challenge everything she knows, offering her the chance to finally discover where she truly belongs and to embrace the unique destiny that has always been waiting for her just out of reach.
