Mizuho has always viewed the world through a deeply pessimistic lens, constantly expecting the worst and doubting anything that seems too good to be true. Her guarded existence is suddenly disrupted when Hayami, an overwhelmingly cheerful and bright individual, unexpectedly confesses his romantic feelings to her. For someone so accustomed to negativity, this sudden declaration of affection feels entirely impossible to believe. Mizuho finds herself caught off guard, unable to accept that someone as vibrant as Hayami could genuinely harbor such emotions for her. Rather than taking his words at face value, she retreats into her familiar patterns of doubt, quietly questioning his motives and the sincerity behind his confession. The stark contrast between Hayami's radiant optimism and Mizuho's ingrained cynicism creates a delicate emotional tension between them. As he continues to express his earnest devotion, the story explores whether his unwavering warmth can slowly dismantle the walls she has built around herself. Ultimately, it remains to be seen if Hayami's persistent and genuine love will be enough to shift Mizuho's perspective, convincing her to finally open her heart and embrace the possibility of happiness.
