Time and Again

A grudge is an emotion bound in place, unable to move forward. When such a feeling remains trapped without any hope of release, sorrow takes root, and that unyielding grief eventually twists into pure hostility. Guided by this grim understanding, Baek-On and Ho-Yeon make their living as traveling exorcists-for-hire, journeying across the country to hunt down vengeful ghosts and lingering resentments. With every spirit they confront, the two uncover harrowing tales of tragedy and profound loss. These are sorrows they know intimately, carrying their own heavy burdens from the past. Their work forces them to constantly navigate the delicate boundary between the restless dead and the world they left behind, facing entities born entirely from unresolved pain. Yet, as Baek-On and Ho-Yeon continue their relentless travels, they repeatedly discover a chilling truth about the nature of malice. The supernatural violence unleashed by even the most murderous spirits often pales in comparison to the calculated cruelty inflicted by the living. In a world where human hearts can harbor darkness far deeper than any ghost, the true monsters are not always the ones waiting in the shadows.
