Assistant Manager Lee's Survival Story

Hunsung Tech is a small-to-medium enterprise that manufactures everyday plastic goods, from infant formula lids to yogurt spoons. Behind its ordinary products lies a deeply dysfunctional workplace run like a family fiefdom. The CEO, his son, brother-in-law, younger brother, and daughter-in-law all hold key positions, collectively suffocating the regular employees under their mismanagement. Amid this toxic environment, Administrative Manager Lee Gyeong-Min stands out as the company’s undeniable backbone. Arriving early and working late, he compensates for the executives' incompetence while quietly advocating for fair treatment of the factory floor workers. After years of relentless dedication and quiet endurance, Lee Gyeong-Min finally reaches his breaking point. Just when the pressure becomes unbearable, an astonishing turn of events alters the trajectory of his life. What follows is a dramatic journey of escaping a corporate nightmare, securing a better career, achieving personal success, and even finding love through marriage. With small and medium-sized enterprises making up ninety-nine percent of South Korea's business landscape, this story delivers the fierce, inspiring chronicle of one young man fighting to thrive within such a company.
