Itsukasei Metsubou Syndrome

The world has been given a definitive expiration date: exactly five days remain before total annihilation. With the end rapidly approaching, the pressing question for everyone is how to spend their final moments. For Fuji, Touko, and Nitaka, the answer lies in an unexpectedly ordinary routine. Rather than succumbing to panic or despair, the trio dedicates their remaining time to attending school, navigating their last few days as students while the clock ticks down toward the apocalypse. Their quiet determination to maintain a sense of normalcy forms the emotional core of a story that balances impending doom with everyday life. The catalyst for this looming destruction is Niino, a remarkably clumsy devil who casually announces her intention to wipe out the world within the five-day window. Far from being a terrifying harbinger of doom, her bumbling nature turns what should be a catastrophic prophecy into something entirely different. As Niino’s inept attempts at global devastation intersect with the daily lives of Fuji, Touko, and Nitaka, the situation spirals into absolute absurdity. The contrast between the gravity of the world's end and the sheer incompetence of its would-be destroyer creates a uniquely hilarious brand of chaos, transforming humanity's final countdown into a delightfully comedic spectacle.
