Change Your Story

Life as the hero of a shonen narrative is far more exhausting than it appears. Oryn wants nothing to do with the relentless cycle of criminals, terrifying beasts, and chaotic battles that define his world. His singular ambition is refreshingly simple: to exist in complete obscurity and enjoy an entirely unremarkable life. Yet, escaping the demands of his designated role proves nearly impossible when his assigned antagonist refuses to leave him alone. Zef, a volatile and dangerously unpredictable nuisance, remains fixated on Oryn, constantly dragging him back into the very mayhem he so desperately wishes to avoid. Trapped within a story structure that seems determined to force him into endless conflict, Oryn begins to consider an unconventional solution. If the universe insists he must play the leading role, perhaps he can fundamentally alter the nature of the tale itself. Rather than fighting monsters or dodging villains, Oryn decides to attempt something unprecedented: shifting his reality from high-stakes action into the realm of romance. By changing his genre instead of merely resisting his part, he hopes to finally rewrite his destiny and find the peaceful existence he has always craved.
