Tokage

Tokage is a wandering soul cursed to roam the earth for eternity, denied both peaceful rest and entry into the cycle of reincarnation. Desperate for salvation, this restless spirit seizes an opportunity by inhabiting the body of Yuuka, a recently deceased shrine maiden. However, sustaining this borrowed vessel demands constant spiritual energy drawn from someone who shared a deep bond with the girl in life. That crucial tether is Shinobu, a younger boy residing at the same shrine, whose profound connection to Yuuka makes him the sole source capable of keeping Tokage anchored to the physical world. Bound together by necessity, Tokage and Shinobu are thrust into a harrowing journey through a reality spiraling into madness. The world around them has fractured into chaos and carnage, driven by the violent gravitational pull that unsent souls exert upon the living. As they navigate this devastated landscape, the unlikely pair must fight to survive while Tokage relentlessly searches for a way to finally break the ancient curse and achieve true release.
