Souun no Gunbaisha

Set against the turbulent backdrop of Japan’s Sengoku era, Souun no Gunbaisha follows the life of Kazutaro Kazuma, a thirteen-year-old boy navigating the hardships of a war-torn world. Living alongside his sister, he dedicates his days to grueling labor at a local temple, working tirelessly to secure their survival in an age defined by chaos and shifting allegiances. Everything changes during a fateful encounter with the Lord of Izu. This unexpected meeting shatters the boundaries of Kazutaro’s ordinary existence, pulling him from the shadows of temple chores and thrusting him into the dangerous political currents of the warring states period.
