Buchou kara Gikei, Soshite Koibito!?

Twenty-eight-year-old Naru works as a single employee at a prestigious trading company, where her direct superior is the thirty-two-year-old department manager, Tomoya Sasaki. Highly capable and elite, he also harbors a complicated secret: he is Naru's ex-boyfriend. Their relationship ended because she grew exhausted from maintaining the facade of a flawless partner. Behind closed doors, Naru prefers cheap beer and grilled chicken skewers over elegance, secretly living as an unapologetically lazy woman who rarely bothers to cook or clean. Her carefully guarded double life shatters one evening when, right in the middle of her usual after-work drink, her mother drops a sudden announcement about getting remarried. The new fiancé has a son who will be joining their household, and his surname happens to be Sasaki. Naru quickly realizes the horrifying truth—her soon-to-be stepbrother is none other than her strict department manager and former lover. The prospect of living under the same roof with him is already overwhelming, but having her boss simultaneously become her stepbrother pushes the situation into complete absurdity. With her hidden lifestyle at risk of exposure both at home and in the office, Naru faces an impossible dilemma that threatens to upend her personal and professional world entirely.
