HERO TALES

Ancient legend foretells the rise of seven heroes, each entrusted with the power of a star from the Big Dipper. Among these celestial forces, two stars are locked in eternal opposition, destined to clash and plunge the world into ruin. Yet Taitou, a headstrong and defiant young man, has never given much thought to such myths. He is the final youth in his village to complete his coming-of-age ceremony, a delay that provides endless amusement for his sister, Laila. When Taitou finally proves himself worthy, he is gifted the Kenkaranbu, a sacred blade said to yield only to a true hero. To his deep frustration, he finds himself entirely unable to draw the ancient sword. Before he can resolve this failure, a mysterious thief suddenly appears, steals the weapon, and cryptically invokes the legend of the Big Dipper before vanishing. With the sacred blade gone and the prophecy seemingly awakening around him, Taitou is thrust into a journey he never anticipated. Determined to reclaim the Kenkaranbu, he sets out into a wider world, unknowingly chasing the truth of his own destiny as the fated stars begin their inevitable turn.
