To the outside world, Akihiko Shiraishi appears to be the picture of perfection. With flawless academic records, natural athletic ability, and a charismatic smile that wins over everyone around him, he seems to have it all. Beneath this polished exterior, however, lies an awkward young man who is constantly struggling just to keep up with the impossible expectations placed upon him. His carefully constructed image is put to the ultimate test when he finds himself locked in competition with Harumi Kurose, a brilliant prodigy from a rival school. Harumi carries a reputation for being cold and deeply intimidating, making any encounter between them feel fraught with tension. Yet, when their paths finally cross, Akihiko discovers something unexpected: the fearsome rival he has been dreading might not be so different from himself. Behind Harumi’s unapproachable demeanor lies another person hiding behind a carefully maintained façade. As these two guarded individuals begin to recognize the shared vulnerability in one another, the dynamic between them starts to shift.
