Ground Under

In a desolate wasteland where massive crows roam without restraint, a young girl known as Sick Chick makes her living by gathering the fallen feathers of these giant birds. Her solitary routine is abruptly interrupted when she crosses paths with a group of hunters who have lost their bearings and are wandering aimlessly through the harsh terrain. When the disoriented travelers ask for her help, she agrees to act as their guide, stepping away from her familiar surroundings to lead them through the unforgiving landscape. However, what begins as a simple escort mission quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. As Sick Chick journeys alongside the hunters, she finds herself drawn into a shadowy conspiracy centered around the wasteland's hidden natural resources. The barren expanse she calls home holds secrets that powerful forces are willing to exploit, and her decision to aid these strangers places her directly in the path of their ambitions. Thrust into a conflict far larger than herself, Sick Chick must navigate treacherous alliances and unforeseen threats to survive in a world where the true value of the wasteland has made it a target for greed and deception.
